Red Hawk Pride

Over the last few weeks, I reconnected with my old high school by following a couple of teams with my camera. It would be easy for me to sit here and feel like I am somehow giving back and helping these guys by documenting some games for them - and I know that they appreciate it. However, the reality is that they have shown, taught and given me much more.

Union Champs

Braved the cold to witness these guys capture the conference championship. It truly was a joy to be there photographing these moments and seeing all the smiles and excitement. Best of luck to you all in the district game, go Redhawks!

Union vs Jenison

Woosah

I had the honor of photographing Erica Lang (Woosah) in her studio and on a beach location. These photos happened during a film shoot we were directing for one of our clients. It was fun to see her process and witness her piece come to life. Over the day she sketched, carved and then created prints of her wood carving. Overall it was very inspirational and Erica was a pleasure to work with.

A night time afFAIR.

I spent some time at the local fair capturing the busy and chaotic nature of it all. My original intent was to capture the fair at night in color allowing the lights to really stand out against the dark sky. Once I started processing these photos I felt like black and white made the photos feel busier and created a stronger contrast making the fair feel even more vibrant than the color versions.
